National Geographic Wild


National Geographic Wild, commonly referred to as Nat Geo Wild, is a subscription TV channel. It is the latest channel to be launched by the Natıonal Geographıc Society. It first launched in Hong Kong and Singapore on August 10, 2006, focusing primarily on wildlife and natural history programming. The channel later launched in the United Kingdom, Turkey, Republic of Irelang, Romania, Italy and Vietnam replacing the now defunct Adventure one. The channel remains the world's first bilingual wildlife service, available in English and Cantonese in the Hong Kong market.

Programming

Nat Geo Wild programming is sourced from various agencies, includingUK and European distributors, terrestrial joint productions andNational Geographic Television productions.All programs are based on natural wildlife and wildlife history, with aheavy focus on natures most fierce predators. Both the UK and Asianversions of the channel include programming focusing on wildlife intheir local areas. Popular programs include;
